2001 Award Nominees

I have recieved a number of nominations for each of the awards. While all of them were good nominations (well, maybe only most of them were), I did have to narrow the field down to three for each category. So for each award, I have included three nominees. I would appreciate it if everyone could vote for one in each category and send your votes to me by Sunday. The winners will be announced next week. Thanks for everyone that submitted thier ideas.

Bonehead Move of the Year

• Norsemen - (Failing to activate a real lineup for most of the season)
• War Eagles - (Performing 34 transactions and still missing the playoffs)
• ZEN - (Drafting Michael Bennett as the #1 overall pick)

Best Ownership Move

• Freezer Burn - (Sealed envelope draft accuratly predicted who would be available each round)
• Hempaholics - (Not panicing and unloading players during 4 game losing streak)
• Werewolves - (Drafted Rod Smith with the number 5 overall pick)

Owner of the Year

• Crusaders - (Won fourth sraight division title)
• Freezer Burn - (From Toliet Bowl to Number 1 seed in one season)
• War Eagles - (Took perpetually poor team to within 1 game of playoffs)
